Is there going to be another series of strike back, and if so when will it be please?

I am hoping that it will but I guess it depends on Sky. If you have listened to Richard Armitage's interview for Venetia (the Georgette Heyer audiobook he recorded for Naxos) then you will know that he says there is a possibility that Strike Back will continue, but I guess it all depends on Sky's perceptions of how it all went. I sincerely hope so as I desperately want to find out what happens to Porter next. |

Well, Sky certainly set up the end of episode 6 for a new series. What a cliff-hanger! They just can't leave us dangling like this! I shall withdraw ny subscription if we don't see a continuation. There are still things left to be resolved. |

please please bring this back for a second series, it is one of the best adventure stories i have seen inages. got the lot, action, humour, suspense just add romance and we have the full package, Armitage is fantastic, |

Strike Back was good entertainment. Hope Sky makes a second series there are lots of other places John Porter could go. Excellent performances but the scripts could be improved IMO. |

This series has been great I hope sky view it as a success it is everybit as good as some of the American series that we are unindated with in the UK. I hope they recommission it. |

Just checked the Strike Back DVD sales ranking on Amazon UK. As of today, it is #283 in overall DVD sales and #57 in Television Drama. I'd say those are respectable figures! |

Wow what a series,great tv,deffo beats the dross thats on today.I enjoyed episodes 3+4 the most.On topic - there must be a follow up series.I hope so anyway.Porter the SAS man Vs the yanks.can't wait |

Just watched the last two episodes of Strike Back that I had SKY+'d. Absolutley brilliant!!!! Being ex military myself it is great to see a series portray it's lead character as somebody that every one who has served can relate to. Chris Ryan obviously has alot of experience in the field and has put all that knowledge and experience into John Porter. The way it ended with Porter being declared a target for the U.S begs for another series and considering the viewing figures that each episode took in (not less than 350,000 per episode, the highest ratings on SKY for that time slot), I'm confident that Strike Back will be back on our screen before you know it! |

Just an update with the Amazon rankings: Strike Back is now at 71 in the bestsellers list; it is at 19 under TV and 10 under TV Drama! Coming along nicely. Keep on buying. And don't forget to write a review for Amazon! Reviews do have an effect when people are thinking about what to buy. |

Really hope that they make a new series it has certainly been edge of the seat stuff!! AND of course Richard Armitage brought the character to life. One of the review websites has said that the series has been cancelled - I do so hope that this isn' the case especially as far as I know nothing official has come from Sky |

If you're talking about the "cancelled" remark on Screenrush, then I don't think it carries any authority. Perhaps that's just the sort of remark they put against a show when things are still up in the air rather admit that they don't know. The very latest fom Sky is that SB2 is still seriously under discussion. |

Thank you jaindynasty for the update. That's encouraging news. The first three films have been impressive; superbly filmed with a great cast, very enjoyable to watch. I would like to see more. |
